Here is an early
World War II US Army Theater Made Bracelet
.  The
Sweet Heart Bracelet features an Aurar Coin Bracelet from service in Iceland.
There are
10 coins, 5 different denominations

.  This was most likely made for a sweetheart back in the States.  Coin bracelets were popular in the 1940s, especially those theater made overseas.  The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard all served in and operated out of Iceland which was a strategic position for the United States on the route to Europe and for combating the Submarine threat.   It appears each of these coins were worth some money to coin collectors.   The Icelandic Theater Made Aurar Coin Concave Bracelet is as old as 79 years and is in about fair to fair condition.
