Antique Classic Car Leather Wrapped Auxillary Trunk for luggage Rack,Packard,PA

What we have here is an Antique classic Luxury car auxililary rear trunk that is mounted to the folding luggage carrier of  classic cars of the 30s. I see NO names on it.  It looks to be black leather wrapped over a wood Box format. It has a  Stainless Steel  or chromed hinge on the opening door side of it that  the door lifts up to put things in it. It has heavy/thick pieces of leather on each corner to prevent damage.  It has a latch/lever on each side of it, to lock/hold the door closed tightly. It has  holes in the bottom where it most likely was mounted/bolted down the  luggage rack. There are snaps all the way around the bottom to attach a protective cover on it. In the trunk it self was a some sort of canvas cover , which maybe the protective cover for it.  I am not for sure and will have to unfold it and check for sure. At the time I figured my father was using the trunk for storage. This is genuine original antique car trunk, not something that was made up by someone to resemble an old trunk. It has to be close to a 100 years old. Great piece of American Auto history for the old car buff. Old car buffs act fast as I doubt you see these come up for sale very often.

It is 35 1/2" long 18" deep  and 20  1/2" at the tallest point. Has a small hump to in the center top.
This trunk would have been used on the large luxury classic cars of the 30s, Packard, Cadillac, Marmon, Auburns, Stutz, Lincoln, Pierce Arrow, etc
