1930s Pearl Harbor Navy Yard Brass ID Tag "Bango"

Description

Sometimes called "bangos," these brass ID tags were either used as inventory tags or tool check out tags depending upon who you ask. It's a brass tag marked with a number and "US" in the middle and "Navy Yard Pearl Harbor TH" around the piece inside a decorative border of tiny circles. On the other side, there is a large "7" and an anchor flanked by "US". The "TH" stands for Territory of Hawaii.
It is very worn and has a slight bend at about the 5 o'clock position. Measures 1 3/8 inches across.
