12 bombers on six IndiGo flights: Threat message posted on X

A bomb threat message was sent to six IndiGo flights through an anonymous account on X. The message claimed that there were 12 bombers spread across six Indigo flights, with two bombers on each plane. The flights mentioned were 6E87, 6E11, 6E112, 6E133, 6E58, and 6E17.
IndiGo issued an official statement, in which it said that security measures were taken on the six flights which received threats.
Flights from Kozhikode, Delhi, Goa, Pune, Jeddah, and Mumbai were affected. In each case, the aircraft was taken to an isolation bay or customers were safely disembarked. “The safety and security of our customers and crew remain paramount in all facets of our operations,” IndiGo said in a statement, adding that standard operating procedures were followed.
(Correction: An earlier version of this story said that IndiGo flights from Mangalore to Dubai and Thiruvananthapuram to Muscat received bomb threats, and the threat message was sent to an airport directly. The error is regretted.)
Meanwhile, budget carrier IndiGo stated that six of its flights got bomb threats. Soon after receiving the threat, the airlines issued a statement in which they stated that the safety and security of the passengers and crew is its top priority and that the airline is closely working with relevant authorities and taking all necessary precautions as per the guidelines.
Over 20 Indian airline flights received bomb threats on Sunday, according to sources, as reported by news agency PTI. IndiGo, Vistara, and Air India each had six flights targeted. Vistara confirmed receiving threats for six flights: UK25 (Delhi to Frankfurt), UK106 (Singapore to Mumbai), UK146 (Bali to Delhi), UK116 (Singapore to Delhi), UK110 (Singapore to Pune), and UK107 (Mumbai to Singapore).
Earlier on Saturday, six flights against which bomb threats were issued from social media made scheduled landings at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
